Fees

Users pay a management fee on TECH and a trading fee for trades.

Management fees

Holders of fund tokens pay an annual management fee of 2.5% of assets under management (AUM) to Fission. This happens automatically - there is no transfer or action required by users.

Trading fees

Traders transacting on the Fission DEX will pay a 1% transaction value trading fee that goes to the liquidity providers. For example, if a TECH token is traded for $100, the buyer will pay $101 and the seller will receive $100. The fee is taken out of the initiator’s tokens before the swap occurs.

There is also a 0.25% protocol fee assessed on each trade paid to the Fission Foundation, which operates the Fission DEX.
